Titanium dioxide is a white amorphous powder, known as the "King of White Pigments". Its main component is titanium dioxide. It can be produced from ilmenite, rutile, or titanium slag. There are two production processes for titanium dioxide, namely the sulfate process and the chloride process. Titanium dioxide is widely used in coatings, plastics, papermaking, inks and cosmetics industries.

Titanium dioxide flash dryer is a drying equipment specially designed for titanium dioxide production based on traditional equipment and according to the characteristics of titanium dioxide. It has the following characteristics:

1. Using high-temperature drying technology, titanium dioxide can be dried to the required moisture content in a short time.

2. It has the advantages of low energy consumption and small floor space, which greatly improves the production efficiency of titanium dioxide.

3. Reliable and stable production, capable of continuous production.

4. Strong mass and heat transfer, high production intensity, short drying time, and short material residence time.

The flash dryer consists of air inlet system, heating system, feeding system, drying host, material collection and dust removal system, exhaust system, control system, etc. During operation, the wet material enters the drying chamber from the screw feeder and meets the high-speed rotating hot air in the drying chamber. The fine powdery material is carried by the hot air and moves to the upper drying chamber. Large particles or materials that cannot be taken away fall to the bottom of the drying chamber and are crushed by the crushing device at the bottom and dispersed quickly. The contact area between the material and the hot air is greatly increased. Under the action of centrifugal force (there is a classification device on the top), the products that meet the drying requirements and a certain fineness are blown out of the classification device and collected by the subsequent collection and dust removal system to complete the drying process.
