Equipment overview
The special spin flash dryer for battery materials consists of drying host, heater, bag dust collector, condenser, fan and silo. The hot air enters the bottom of the dryer tangentially and forms a powerful rotating wind field driven by the agitator. The paste material enters the dryer from the spiral feeder. Under the strong action of the high-speed rotating stirring paddle, the material is dispersed under the action of impact, friction and shear force. The lumpy material is quickly crushed, fully contacted with the hot air, heated and dried. The dehydrated dry material rises with the hot air flow, and the classification ring intercepts the large particles. The small particles are discharged from the center of the ring out of the dryer and recovered by the cyclone separator and dust collector. The undried or large pieces of material are thrown toward the wall by centrifugal force and fall back to the bottom to be crushed and dried.
Structural features
1. In view of the viscosity and poor fluidity of the battery material filter cake, the feeding and conveying spiral is designed into a double helix structure, and the spiral plates are staggered and cut into each other. And an arch-breaking stirring device is installed in the part of the wet hopper close to the spiral. Its rotation speed is the same as the spiral speed, which can easily destroy the "shaft holding" phenomenon of sticky materials. The double helix has a self-cleaning function and uses a frequency converter to adjust the speed.
2. An insulation layer is installed on the inside of the cone inside the main engine to reduce the heat transfer in the main engine to the bearing parts and protect the bearings from thermal wear.
3. According to drying practice, when drying battery materials, the final moisture requirements of the product are very low, while flash drying is a continuous rapid fluidized drying process, which is instant drying and has a short drying time. The air outlet temperature of the main tower of the dryer is often between 100°C and 160°C. The high-temperature exhaust gas can be used to preheat the drying system through the waste heat recovery device to achieve the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction.
4. The battery material has a very small particle size and is a micro-powder. Therefore, the filter bag in the bag dust collector is made of PTFE-coated material, which can efficiently filter fine powder. At the same time, the coating material itself is hydrophobic, which can greatly reduce the adhesion of water and other oily substances on the surface of the filter bag when used, thereby reducing the adhesion of dust on the surface of the filter bag, and the bag dust cleaning effect is good. The filtration area of the bag dust collector is large enough, and the entire dust collector operates in good condition, with low resistance and high dust removal efficiency.
