YPG series pressure spray dryer

The YPG series pressure-type spray (cooling) dryer uses a pressure atomizer to atomize solution or paste-like materials into fine droplets by means of the pressure from a diaphragm pump. This significantly increases the surface area, allowing for full heat exchange with hot air to achieve rapid drying (drying time ranges from several seconds to几十 seconds). Ultimately, powder or fine granular products are obtained.

Product Introduction

This unit is an apparatus capable of completing both drying and granulation simultaneously. According to process requirements, the pressure and flow rate of the liquid pump, as well as the size of the spray nozzle, can be adjusted to achieve spherical particles of a desired size ratio.

Working Principle

The working process of this unit involves the feed liquid being input under high pressure through a diaphragm pump, spraying out雾状液滴, which then co-current下降 with hot air. The majority of the powder particles are collected at the bottom discharge port of the tower. The exhaust gas and its fine powder are separated by a cyclone separator, with the exhaust gas being expelled by an exhaust fan, and the powder being collected by a powder collection tube located at the lower end of the cyclone separator. A secondary dust removal device can also be equipped at the outlet of the fan, with a recovery rate of over 96-98%.

Performance Features

1.  Fast drying speed: After the raw materials are atomized, the liquid surface area increases significantly, allowing 95%-98% of the moisture to evaporate instantly in the hot air flow. The drying process only takes a few seconds to tens of seconds, making it particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.

2.  All products are spherical particles with uniform particle size, good flowability and solubility, high purity, and excellent quality.

3.  Wide range of applications: Depending on the material properties, hot air drying or cold air granulation can be adopted, showing strong adaptability to materials.

4.  Simple and stable operation, easy to control, and convenient to achieve automated operation.

Drying Granules

1.  Chemicals: Catalysts, resins, synthetic laundry detergents, fatty acids, ammonium sulfate, dyes, dye intermediates, silica, graphite, phosphates, etc.

2.  Food: Amino acids and derivatives, seasonings, proteins, starch, dairy products, coffee extracts, fish meal, meat essence, etc.

3.  Pharmaceuticals: Traditional Chinese medicine preparations, pesticides, antibiotics, medical granules, etc.

4.  Ceramics: Magnesium oxide, kaolin, various metal oxides, dolomite, etc.

Spray Granulation

Fertilizers, alumina, ceramic powder, pharmaceuticals, heavy metal superhard steel, fertilizers, granular laundry detergent, traditional Chinese medicine preparations.

Cooling Granulation

Amino fatty acids, paraffin, glycerides, tallow, etc. Often used in spray crystallization, spray concentration, and spray reactions.
